WHAT TO KNOW

Pointe Shoe Fittings are one of our favorite things to do here at Arabesque. Whether your teacher finally gave you the “ok” for your new satin shoes, or you are already on Pointe and need to be refit in a new shoe, we have got you covered! First time fittings — please plan for up to 1 hour for your appointment. If you have been fit for Pointe Shoe’s before, please bring your shoes and toe pad/accessories for us to see what you have been dancing on!

OUR SELECTION

We have a selection of over six Pointe Shoe Brands and over ten styles to suit every dancer’s foot going on Pointe. The art of fitting a dancer for the perfect shoe requires experience and expertise, both of which our fitters provide here at Arabesque. We take Pointe Shoe fittings very seriously to fit you for the perfect shoe, while also having fun and jokes along the way —

We highly encourage all pointe shoe fittings to be made by appointment. They are not required, but expected to insure we can give you our time and expertise completely dedicated to you. Walk ins are never a guarantee to be fit during store hours.

Sewing services are available for an additional charge with every pair of pointe shoes. We offer both satin and stretch ribbons as well as elastics.

We recommend every dancer wear tights for maximum comfort when fitting. We also suggest wearing an outfit that you would like to take a picture in once you find the perfect shoe for you!
